The property opened as a functional golf course in 1971 and operated until 2022, when it was shuttered due to ongoing financial troubles compounded by widespread plumbing damage wrought by Winter Storm Uri. After changing ownership in 2024, Crescendo Development assumed developmental management of the property and immediately began work on obtaining code compliance by mowing the overgrown greens, remedying fire hazards, securing broken windows, and more.
